Welcome! I’m Gabriel, a PhD student for the Tri-Institutional Computational Biology & Medicine program at Cornell, Memorial Sloan Kettering and Rockefeller. Previously, I was a Computational Postgraduate Associate in Dr. Hattie Chung’s lab at the Yale School of Medicine.
I hold an MSc in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine, and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. My research specializes in geometric and generative machine learning for spatial and single-cell biology.
In my free time, I enjoy coding in Rust, solving Advent of Code, and configuring NeoVim.
